Camden County Jail Facility
Albemarle District Jail is the regional detention facility for Camden County local custody. Pasquotank County's official jail page states that Camden, Pasquotank, and Perquimans authorized a regional jail study in October 1969, that the original jail opened in 1972, and that the current facility was constructed as a 248-bed facility with infrastructure to expand to 500. The jail moved in 2010 to the Pasquotank County Commerce Park.
